I Googled "Giorgio Bruno", and Google said there were 29,900,000 results. Is there a quick way to get to some of these distant mumerical results?

Why would you want to...?

Out of curiosity. Who visits all these millions of distant web pages?

In the address you will find at the end a start=xx where xx is the number of the result so put the number you want instead of whats there to skip ahead

I wonder what word, syllable, or letter, would generate the most hits on Google. :)

I tried with just the letter A, and got 7 900 000 000 hits.

Anyone who can top that? ;)

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. On the Google page? What?

In the box at the top of your browser where you would manually enter an address or where it lists the address you are at . Ex: if you go to google it would show http://www.google.com

After doing your search for Giorgio Bruno the box shows https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=Giorgio+Bruno

If you click to go to page 2 the address box shows this https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=Giorgio+Bruno&start=10

Now replace the number after start in the address box with the result number you want to look at.

I only get 6,650,000,000 for "E"

"D" nets 24,620,000,000 results, the most of all the single letter searches.

Maybe you are not using the US google?

Thanks Quaentum! So, it's impossible to access the entire internet? This would mean that 99.99999% of the internet is inaccessable to everyone. Hmmm...

About 25,270,000,000

That is what I see

Mine returns this from the US:

About 3,350,000,000 results (0.22 seconds)

This from Canada:

About 6,650,000,000 results (0.29 seconds)

This from Ireland:

About 2,740,000,000 results (0.20 seconds)

Entirely depends on which set of Google's nodes you get, as to which magical number you obtain:

For example: https://geopeeker.com/fetch/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2Fsearch%3Fq%3DE

Depends what you mean by impossible.

It's a little like having a local telephone directory and then saying that it's impossible to access anyone else's phone.

Ease of discovery is not the same as access. If you know the exact website address (or phone number), then it's accessible enough.

On the subject of random google searches, I just looked up how many results they had for "Isis", and I swear one of the was "Isis Ice Bucket Challenge". Wouldn't you like to see that?

It seems to me years ago on the bottom of Internet Explorer page it had listings of different country's internet that you could click on and be there. Something like that. Anybody else remember this?
