Still Waters Posted October 2, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 2, 2015 The first private moon landing could be just two years away. California-based company Moon Express, which aims to fly commercial missions to the moon and help unlock its resources, has signed a five-launch deal with Rocket Lab, with the first two robotic liftoffs scheduled to take place in 2017. http://www.space.com...aunch-2017.html

Calibeliever Posted October 4, 2015 #8 Share Posted October 4, 2015 *sigh* I wish this had happened 20 years ago. It was always my dream to someday go to the moon and I fear I may be getting to old for that dream now. Good wishes to these folks though. I hope they pull it off.
