oh well, we'll find out. It is just going to take time and a fair bit of detective work.

The expensive underwater search for this plane, which is shortly to be abandoned, might not, if it found wreckage and not the flight recorders, have yielded much more than what has already emerged, as clues. One cannot imagine the mayhem that might have engulfed those on board, terrifying to think of the length of the ordeal.

Confirmed?

If this is in fact from MH370 the terror those people endured is unimaginable.

Here's a better article from a few days ago which confirms this piece if from MH370: 'Boeing 777 flap found off Tanzania coast came from MH370' Read more at http://www.9news.com.au/world/2016/09/15/20/19/boeing-777-flap-found-off-tanzania-coast-came-from-malaysian-flight-370#tsAHMyhwVpL3jQ2e.99

And in reality, the passengers might never have known anything was happening, hypoxia.

MH370 search ends after three years

http://www.ctvnews.ca/world/mh370-search-ends-after-three-years-1.3244047

SYDNEY, Australia - After nearly three years, the hunt for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 ended in futility and frustration Tuesday, as crews completed their deep-sea search of a desolate stretch of the Indian Ocean without finding a trace of the plane.

The Joint Agency Coordination Center in Australia, which has helped lead the $160 million hunt for the Boeing 777 in remote waters west of Australia, said the search had officially been suspended after crews finished their fruitless sweep of the 120,000-square kilometre search zone.

"Despite every effort using the best science available, cutting-edge technology, as well as modelling and advice from highly skilled professionals who are the best in their field, unfortunately, the search has not been able to locate the aircraft," the agency said in a statement. "Accordingly, the underwater search for MH370 has been suspended."

Officials investigating the plane's disappearance have recommended search crews head north to a new area identified in a recent analysis as a possible crash site. But the Australian government has already nixed that idea.

Ocean drift analysis shows MH370 most likely in new search area: Australian scientists

The new debris drift analysis suggests the missing Boeing 777 may be located in a much smaller 25,000 sq km (9,652 sq mile) zone within that proposed northern search area.

“This new work leaves us more confident in our findings,” Dr David Griffin, a principal research scientist at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) said in a statement.

The CSIRO report featured data and analysis from ocean testing of an actual Boeing 777 flaperon cut down to match the one from MH370 found on Reunion island off the coast of Africa in 2015, rather than the wood and steel models used in a previous test.

"We’ve found that an actual flaperon goes (drifts) about 20 degrees to the left, and faster than the replicas, as we thought it might," said Griffin. "The arrival of MH370’s flaperon at La Reunion in July 2015 now makes perfect sense."

That's true; a lot of people would never have heard of her. Then again, not many would have ever heard of Pancho Barnes or Jackie Cochran.
