LostSouls7 Posted February 15, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2016 I really enjoy drinking a cold beer often. Who else likes beer on here? And what kind ?
Thorvir Posted February 15, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 15, 2016 I like it. Quite a bit. The darker the better, though others are good as well. I'm currently drinking Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale, Dos Equis Amber, and Oculto. Well, not exactly at this moment, and not all at once. Those are the ones in my fridge.
EEHC Posted February 15, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 15, 2016 (edited) I do on occasion. Weekends mostly. Craft beer when I can but on a tight budget I usually drink macros like Pabst Blue Ribbon, Busch or Molson. docyabut2 Posted February 15, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 15, 2016 Did not like the bitter taste of beer, but now they are making it sweeter forms.
CrimsonKing Posted February 15, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 15, 2016 I love good beers! Can't stomach most macros anymore,Sam Adams is about the biggest brewer i can give money too... Sierra Nevada and West Coast Brewing make some of my favorites. In my fridge at the moment i have a Sierra Nevada variety pack and around a 6 pack of Andygator from Abita brewing. Put two Sierra Nevada "Hop Hunter" IPA's in my chili earlier instead of the usual Guinness and it turned out great!

F3SS Posted February 15, 2016 #8 Share Posted February 15, 2016 I don't drink very often anymore. Life got in the way and I'm a social drinker anyway. Yuengling is my favorite though. Brewed in Pottstown, Pa and famously prints on its labels "America's oldest brewery".

I wouldn't drink much either if my favorite beer was Yuengling JK the black & tan they make is drinkable but the plain lager taste to much like bud...

ChrLzs Posted February 15, 2016 #12 Share Posted February 15, 2016 (edited) From someone who *very* rarely drinks beer (but I know what I like), another vote for Corona, and for an Oz beer, the superb Coopers Pale Ale, with their Sparkling Ale a close second... Space Commander Travis Posted February 15, 2016 #14 Share Posted February 15, 2016 Those are some pretty good beers ZZ,New Belgium has been putting out several good ones the last few years! You want to try the old Belgium. The monks particularly. There's people who know about beer. never mind all this mass produced gassy stuff that people insist has to be served ice cold, since that camouflages the fact there's no taste to it at all.

Auntyseptic Posted February 15, 2016 #16 Share Posted February 15, 2016 (edited) I like a beer or 4, I don't care what kind so long as it's wet and not weak as poo, Saying that I had a pilsner the other week at some posh crafty beer type pub after a particularly stressful train journey and that was the most beautiful beer of my life, Could only have one though as I had another train journey to make and didn't want to get lost on the train after using the toilets again so I was saving my bladder Edited February 15, 2016 by Cat_From_Hell
HandsomeGorilla Posted February 15, 2016 #17 Share Posted February 15, 2016 (edited) Whaddya know, one of my favorite subjects! Top favorites available locally are : Anything from Stone Brewing. Sierra Nevada: Pale Ale and Torpedo. They also have a tropical IPA now that's excellent. Dogfish Head: 60 and 90 minute IPAs. Bells Two Hearted Ale Castaway ipa For a less expensive alternative, for me, few beat plain old Pabst Blue Ribbon. As for Bud, Bud Light, Coors, etc.; I'll only drink that if it's free! +Noteverythingisaconspiracy Posted February 15, 2016 #18 Share Posted February 15, 2016 I like a good old fashioned pilsner (lager) like this Tuborg Classic: I know that atleast one other member of this site likes them too. I don't really like dark beers very much.

Mark One Posted February 15, 2016 #20 Share Posted February 15, 2016 Does anyone remember those beer bags with the little plastic tap? You know, the ones where you pour in several litres of water then hang the bag in awarm place for 3 weeks? The beer was very potent and had body too. Happy memories

Not real beer. But I love a good root beer as well, especially a good craft root beer (is that a thing?) There's a restaurant near here that brews its own root beer and it's delicious--best I've ever had. I get a couple of growlers refilled once every few weeks to take home and enjoy. Then there is the hard root beer (alcoholic root beer). Never had one of those that I liked yet.
