Poppi Posted May 11, 2016 #26 Share Posted May 11, 2016 Not a pizza guy, but a service guy. Been around the block. Have some funny, serious, and scary jobs. Still new here and don't know if going off topic is ok. Maybe i should start a "service guy" weird thread.
jarjarbinks Posted May 11, 2016 #27 Share Posted May 11, 2016 Yes, it was. We still remember that guy's crooked smile... And how creepy it was when he knew one of my friend's name...and that we were expecting pizza... Chance are he's reading this right now...
Hudds Posted May 11, 2016 #28 Share Posted May 11, 2016 Chance are he's reading this right now... I doubt that, because the whole story could had been made up. He didn't confirm it was a real incident.
Drayven Posted May 15, 2016 #29 Share Posted May 15, 2016 That's a very terrifying experience, if it did really happen?. Did actual pizza get delivered that night? Yes, that did actually happen... And, yes the pizza got delivered. It was about an hour and a half after that happened. The cops were still there, so when the real pizza guy came, the cops checked him out just in case it was another practical sick- in- the head joke... Was it a joke? Or a real murderer? The guy may have tapped into all the local pizza places phone lines, or radio frequencies to gain access. I think it could had been a sick joke, or he was a robber or even a murderer. it's good that he did not succeed, with anything serious.

Now, that's what I call a pizza delivery horror story.

Codenwarra Posted June 3, 2016 #38 Share Posted June 3, 2016 I never delivered pizza, but I did deliver groceries a few dozen times. No horror stories but I saw the inside of a lot of people's kitchens. Three or four customers stand out. The first was Mrs. Marsh, who was somewhere in her 50's. She was married to an underground coal miner and would not let her husband into the house until he'd had a shower. So there was a little shower cubicle just to the right of the back door. The fact that he would have had a shower with special coal removal detergent immediately on coming out of the pit was of no account to her. Inside her refrigerator were pink, blue and lilac plastic doilies with items centred on them. Her daughter was another customer and she had the doilies too. That's close to weird, isn't it? Next in line were an elderly woman and her middle aged unmarried daughter. They lived in a huge old "Queenslander" style house with verandas all around and were pretty obviously not short of a dollar. They were also very happy to see me, and I could tell that they'd had a glass or two of sherry with lunch. Probably had a snooze after I left. About six doors up the street from the shop was a woman who never left the house during the day, she had flame red hair and claimed she would have sunburn after 5 minutes in the sun, so never walked down to buy anything. Might have been true. I remember her rattling along about girls who looked as if they only had two saucepan lids down their blouses. She wasn't lacking in that department. As I was about 17 - 18 at the time I made a point of saying nothing except "er - um". The saddest were a very elderly couple who lived in a tiny cottage more or less opposite the main police station. They would order a few cans of dog food "Pal" every week. Took me a long time to work out why, as they didn't have a dog. Our dog would not touch "Pal". Mark One Posted June 4, 2016 #40 Share Posted June 4, 2016 Years ago I had a bad experience with a Dominos pizza. The delivery guy was sweating, and you could smell days old body odour. The pizza looked fine ( a Deluxe pizza ) but it tasted greasy. By bed time I was vomiting and ended up with a bin liner by my bed.all through the night. It got to the point where when I was being sick there was nothing left to come up...yuck. It put me off of pizzas for around 3 years - the mere thought of that deluxe would make my stomach turn. Myles Posted June 6, 2016 #41 Share Posted June 6, 2016 I delivered pizza in Muncie, Indiana for a few months. Orders going to Ball State were good and bad. Mostly bad because college students don't tip much. I did have 3 times where a girl paid while topless. I think it is pretty much drinking dares. Columbo Posted June 11, 2016 Author #42 Share Posted June 11, 2016 On 3/29/2016 at 0:44 PM, Vessel said: Well, I do... My boys were coming over for Halloween just last year (October 31st 2015), and we decided to watch a scary horror movie and order a pizza. About a half hour after we called, we heard some knocking on the door. I looked out the blinds just in case it was the pizza guy, but there was strangely no car outside. "Who is it?" One of them asked. "The pizza guy?" I shrugged and sat back down, "I don't know... Doesn't the pizza guy usually have a car?" The thing was: Yes, they usually would have a car. Suddenly, whoever it was starting pounding on the door; and they wouldn't stop. It sounded like: POUND, POUND, POUND, POUND.... And they wouldn't stop. I got up to go look, accompanied with two of the boys in back of me. By the door, there was a guy. He was fairly large and standing there dressed up. He had a white mask on, which could scare the heck out of someone! He was holding a pizza box. We figured maybe he parked somewhere we couldn't see, and that maybe he's just in the Halloween spirit or something! I opened the door up. I grabbed the money out of my pocket as I reached out for the pizza. The guy didn't budge. He just stood there; staring inside of the house. Suddenly, he said, "Looks like you, Tom and the rest are havin' some fun, huh?" That made my heart drop. Not because of the way his voice sounded; but because he knew my friend's name was Tom. My mouth dropped open as I murmured. "What...?" He dropped the empty pizza box, and hit the door open, injuring my finger. He actually almost got in, since he hurt my finger, but one of my boys glided to the door from the living room, and punched it closed. The guy fell over. As he fell over, a shiny sharp thing fell to the ground. It was a butcher's knife; as sharp as ever. We hurried to the phone to call the cops. When the cops arrived, the guy had disappeared. There was nothing the cops could do; since he was gone. It still haunts us to this day...how the man knew my friend's name and how he knew we were ordering pizza... There are quite some weirdos out there... Have you ever seen him again?

I ordered online and waited for it. I went out to the living room and there are these two big windows that overlook the front yard and driveway. Standing right in the middle of the front yard was the pizza delivery boy, just staring off into the distance. I had no idea what he was doing since there wasn't anything in the direction he was looking I'm. I stared at him for a few seconds wondering what he was doing but he just kept on staring off. Eventually, I went out the front door and shouted to get his attention. He immediately jumped and bolted over to the door to give me my food. He said nothing about it and I wasn't sure what to say, so I just got my food, paid, and went back into the house. Not paranormal, but pretty creepy. I still don't know what he was doing, haha. That's a bit creepy.. I had a similar situation like yours. It was our kid's birthday and we planned to order a pizza for dinner. We ordered meat feast pizza online and waited eagerly for few minutes. It was a snow fall time and it was too cold. Suddenly current went off. It was totally dark. My kid is scared of dark, and he was a bit afraid, so he hugged me and hid his face in my shoulder. I was about to light a candle and someone knocked the door. I took my mobile went and opened the door with the help of mobile torch light and screamed It was the pizza delivery man, but he had covered his face completely and only he eyes were visible. In the dark background, he looked a bit scary. When I screamed, my kid hugged me tighter and started crying. He stood still for a moment and started laughing . I was scared at that moment, but now I'll laugh thinking about it.

But that's not the scary part, the scary part....and I shutter to think about it to this day.....He brought me a 2 liter of Dr. Pepper instead of the Mnt Dew that I ordered and my chicken wings were luke warm.
