Popular Post Saru Posted March 6, 2016 Popular Post #1 Share Posted March 6, 2016 This month marks the site's 15th year online - that's one-and-a-half decades of news, stories and discussion from a community that has helped Unexplained-Mysteries.com grow from humble beginnings to one of the leading destinations of its kind on the Internet. Those of you who have been with us for a while will no doubt remember some of our previous front page designs: The site has continued to evolve over the last few years as well with the introduction of our new mobile site back in 2015 which has helped us to keep up with the changing face of the Internet and the shift from traditional desktop computers to newer mobile platforms. As well as looking back, today also marks an opportunity to look towards the future. On that note I can reveal that the next major forum update is now in the works and will be making an appearance soon. This will be the most significant forum software update in over six years so expect a lot of new features and a lot of modernization including a new responsive mobile theme, a completely new editor and more than a few quality-of-life improvements to make the forum easier to use than ever. I'll be posting up a lot more about the forum update in the near future so keep an eye out for that. In the meantime, here's to the next 15 years.

Leonardo Posted March 6, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 6, 2016 15 years, huh. I haven't been here for quite that long, but it's been a wild ride so far. I've learnt a lot, and also learnt that a lot of what I thought I knew wasn't quite as true as I thought it was. Thanks for starting UM, Saru - I hope to be here for a good long while still.

seeder Posted March 6, 2016 #6 Share Posted March 6, 2016 Ive actually been around under one name or another for most of that time, well on and off. Something about it keeps making me come back, good work, decent members, (mostly) and good moderation (do I get that cheque now?)

Wickian Posted March 6, 2016 #12 Share Posted March 6, 2016 I found this forum on accident way back in '07 when I got bored and started looking up ancient mysteries/alternative history. I've been lurking in the political/regional news section ever since.
.ZZ. Posted March 6, 2016 #13 Share Posted March 6, 2016 (edited) One of the more striking things I saw from those previous incarnations was the one from 2003 that shows: "Members ~1615" Wow, have you grown! Happy birthday! Edited March 6, 2016 by ZZ430

Vlawde Posted March 6, 2016 #16 Share Posted March 6, 2016 I just discovered these forums in the past 6 months. I like that it covers a variety of topics. Looking at the screen shots in the original post, I much prefer the dark background, this current one is too bright! Be nice to have a choice of skins

ShadowSot Posted March 7, 2016 #23 Share Posted March 7, 2016 Before stumbling onto this forum, I had spent some time looking for a site to replace one I had enjoyed that suddenly disappeared. After being on some much more hardcore forums in terms of conspiracy, I found this place. Here's to another 15!

Peter B Posted March 8, 2016 #25 Share Posted March 8, 2016 Congratulations and thanks to the whole team. I particularly like the fact that this is a forum where people of all beliefs can face each other. Too many forums Out There are echo chambers where people only hear from others with similar beliefs, which only reinforces your own beliefs. Here we get to face people who believe things very different to us, and for most of us that means challenging us to think all the harder about what we believe, which I think is a good thing. Keep up the good work. There are lots of people here who appreciate what you're doing. Cheers
