I went to the hospital because I knew I was sick and needed medical attention. I didn't need a god to tell me that. My serious cough and the fact that my surroundings etc got weird to, told me. Its called being very sick and realizing you need a doctor.

You overdosed, hallucinated and we're suffering from more side effects, plus, sleep deprivation. If your so certain it is God telling you what to do, why put it on a UNEXPLAINED mysteries forum? Perhaps it was your own subconscious telling you? No one has tried to belittle you, or laughed at your experienc, we have tried to EXPLAIN your experience.
freetoroam Posted June 9, 2016 #53 Share Posted June 9, 2016 I do my bit to respect peoples beliefs, but have I missed the bit where the OP has thanked those who did save her life? I am not questioning her praying to god, just want to know where credit due is given? The reason why she is alive is because of the hard work performed by the doctors and nurses. Please could someone explain why this seems to be amiss when a person believes that god saved them? So much research has been done over decades, so much hard work, long hours, dedication, is still being done. There are some amazing people out there who really should be receiving the credit for saving lives = the medical profession and all those involved in making it possible. As a non religious person, I will be giving the credit and respect to the people who really deserve it, and as a non religious person, I can quite openly say that god does not come into that list.
rashore Posted June 9, 2016 #54 Share Posted June 9, 2016 Well folks, considering that the OP hasn't been back for several days now... there isn't much point in keeping this thread open. If the OP returns and requests the thread be re-opened, moderators will be happy to do so at that time. But as of now... ~thread closed~
