questionmark Posted July 3, 2016 Author #202 Share Posted July 3, 2016 #27, if for once you had a day that has put you ahead mess it up immediately with a tweet that could be considered anti-semitic: Quote Donald Trump, once again, nearly turned a good day into a tie After several days spent parsing the meeting between Bill Clinton and Attorney General Loretta Lynch on the tarmac in Phoenix, news that Hillary Clinton had at last been interviewed by the FBI over the issue of the email server she used at the State Department should have given Donald Trump a welcome break from the spotlight. And then Trump tweeted. On Saturday morning, Trump's presidential campaign posted a detail from a recent Fox News poll on the social media network. The survey showed that a majority of Americans -- 58 percent -- thought use of the word "corrupt" to describe the presumptive Democratic nominee was accurate. This, Trump figured, made Clinton the "most corrupt candidate ever," as the tweet suggested. (For what it's worth: 45 percent of Americans thought the word applied to Trump.) Space Commander Travis Posted July 3, 2016 #203 Share Posted July 3, 2016 Holy crap, that's the most desperate piece of Trump-attacking propaganda the WaPo has come up with yet. So a star-shaped flash, like you can see on any packet of washing powder advertising a Great New Formula!, is an attack on Jews, because it's the same shape as the Star of David! Surely you don't use this ridiculous propaganda rag as an unbiased source of news, do you, QM?
Space Commander Travis Posted July 3, 2016 #204 Share Posted July 3, 2016 (edited) I suppose there must be whole armies of the Twitterati that the WaPo subsidizes to manufacture Fusses that Set the Twitterverse Alight to invent completely manufactured stories attacking the Trump. (and always to conveniently deflect bad publicity from the Clinton.) Edited July 3, 2016 by Otto von Pickelhaube
Space Commander Travis Posted July 3, 2016 #205 Share Posted July 3, 2016 Or maybe it is a subtle way of insinuating that the Clitnon is in the pocket of the government in Jerusalem, which is something that I'd like to see the Clitnon strenuously deny. questionmark Posted July 4, 2016 Author #206 Share Posted July 4, 2016 #28, exagerate your generosity: Quote Mr. Trump’s fake charity DONALD TRUMP, perhaps the greatest braggart ever to aspire to national office, is hardly shy about flaunting — or rather hyping — his good works. So it has been with his charitable giving, which, for the better part of 30 years, he has regularly exaggerated to the point of plain mendacity. That Mr. Trump in his public utterances is a serial embellisher is no surprise. Still, the shamelessness by which his actual giving to worthy causes has trailed his public claims of generosity is stunning. And given the relish with which he boasted of his giving, his campaign’s assertion that he has made private, quiet charitable gifts strains credulity. A painstaking review by The Post’s David A. Fahrenthold, comparing Mr. Trump’s public statements with available records of his giving, found a pattern of exaggeration and unfulfilled pledges. After the Brexit demonstrated that if you vote protest you might get it that is something to be reconsidered (Because if a 3d party candidate wins he is a lame duck from day 1 to day 1424). This much is for sure: I will not do anything for Trump nor Clinton. In fact, with the others giving up on that I am considering hammering her too. After all of these years, I have never heard you support anyone's stance on the issues. You might mention their name, but that's about as far as it goes. If I was a passionate as you seem to be I would be getting the word out on the benefit of electing them instead of wasting so much time on two of the inevitable. As a matter of fact, Obama was too. That is, before he had a discussion with his daughter and he was shown the light a few short years ago. With Democrats it isn't flip-flopping it is "progression" and maybe "enlightenment". I have issues with people who claim to be neutral, yet they constantly rail against a particular party. You have no choice. They are both horrible. You have now the two most hated candidates in the last 60 years of polling. Neither one should be trusted in charge of a polling booth, let alone a presidency.
