Still Waters Posted May 28, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 28, 2016 A man in Thailand got a shock this week when he went to the toilet and a python sank its teeth into his penis. What animals can navigate the sewers to pop up in your loo, asks Alison Gee. Stories of snakes navigating domestic plumbing are quite common, says Geoff Jacobs at Queensland Wildlife Solutions in Australia, who has run a snake-catching business in Brisbane for 20 years. "The snakes just follow the trail of the rats," he says. "All over the world rats go down in sewers and the snakes go in there after them." And from there they can find your bathroom. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-36397505

Wickian Posted May 28, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 28, 2016 As far as I know nothing swims up a toilets, it climbs. Toilets pipes are empty past the U-bend.
Sir Wearer of Hats Posted May 29, 2016 #4 Share Posted May 29, 2016 He's lucky it was a python - some of the toilet snakes in Oz are Brown Snakes or Red-Bellied Blacks!
