seeder Posted May 31, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 31, 2016 Quote Mystery of winged tiny 'human skeletons' found in 'basement of old London house' Preserved 'remains' of fairies, werewolves and aliens claimed to have been revealed in house clearance of mansion owned by mysterious 19th century collector Skeletal winged bodies of fairies, werewolves and aliens were said to have been found in the basement of an old house in London. The macabre collection features what appears to be a range of mythical beasts, in cases and jars in gruesome poses. Fairies seen with their flesh rotted away and their wings nailed to display boards are joined by sinister-looking contorted alien bodies and hairy humanoid remains. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/weird-news/mystery-winged-tiny-human-skeletons-8076099#rlabs=5 rt$category p$
Bendy Demon Posted May 31, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 31, 2016 Cute and well done in some cases but still fraudulent. Just like the guy, from somewhere, who claimed to have a preserved baby dragon in a jar. No one seemed to notice that the "baby dragon" had strangely human-like hands and feet; I think it was discovered to just be a modified baby doll in a jar or something. Anyways, some look to be art assignments and some seemed to be well constructed.
Waspie_Dwarf Posted May 31, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 31, 2016 The fact that the supposed curator of the collection is an artist should have the alarm bells ringing. If not, then this sentence from the article should do it: Quote But the story is actually well-crafted narrative pieced together by the artist.
Bendy Demon Posted May 31, 2016 #4 Share Posted May 31, 2016 Yeah, sometimes people are so eager to mindlessly accept a story that they let certain details conveniently slip by. Nonetheless the pieces are pretty cool. Takes a lot of skill to make it look so convincing.
bubblykiss Posted May 31, 2016 #5 Share Posted May 31, 2016 It is an awesome collection of art with some very well crafted and presented pieces. The dust helps it out. But the modern skull sketches look too much like something done a week ago.
EllJay Posted May 31, 2016 #6 Share Posted May 31, 2016 (edited) BTW; what was the deal with Steven Greers mini-skeleton? Was it a fake of some sorts, or what? It was like 4-5 inches tall. It's really freaky to imagine a person that small. . Edited May 31, 2016 by EllJay
Wickian Posted May 31, 2016 #7 Share Posted May 31, 2016 I didn't realize wings of that type and size could lift a body of that size.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I was kinda aware that it wasn't an alien. But nonetheless, it is a very unique find, and is really remarkable. One can understand why people got carried away when they first saw it. It looks very "alien". But, as you say, Greer doesn't inspire confidence exactly, with his non-happening "disclosure", and all.
