Still Waters Posted June 25, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 25, 2016 I think they are both amazing. There's more about them here - Koko:The rhyming gorilla and her human mother. http://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/forum/topic/295676-kokothe-rhyming-gorilla-and-her-human-mother/

Patterson and Koko accomplished something remarkable; something that went beyond 'wishful thinking'. Just as fascinating is the relationship between the two of them. The story of Koko blaming the kitten for ripping out the sink has always been my favorite. A brilliant little lie; albeit one that was not carefully thought through. Yeah, I thought that was hilarious. Now we know what animals would do if they could talk. They'd lie. I think especially about having been fed already. Oh no...I didn't get a biscuit yet today.
Likely Guy Posted June 26, 2016 #9 Share Posted June 26, 2016 Rather than the gorilla learning how to speak, maybe we should learn what the gorilla is saying.
