NiteMarcher Posted July 18, 2016 #26 Share Posted July 18, 2016 My thoughts are that you two (SS and Blogger) are quite receptive to the unseen world, almost like a radio that receives air wave frequencies that cannot be seen by the naked eye. Some are able to tap into that frequency where other's cannot. Dogs too, can hear higher pitched sounds and can detect a frequency range of 67-45,000 Hz, compared to a human range of 64-23,000 Hz. A highly intuitive individual may sense a presence or feel to be more exact something or someone that they are unable to see. As long as you don't interact or let these voices get to you, you'll be fine.

Not at all. But my point is the number and frequency of immovable skeptic posters deserves it's own category which I might be tempted to subtitle "WTF?" My point being that you skeptics feel no need to budge on your stance whatsoever; while requiring unending budging on belief in the paranormal. Hence "WTF?" at a site named "unexplained-mysteries"... It would be nice for one of you 'immovable believers' to post something which really does fail to be explained. This is a great site. 'unexplained-mysteries' brings so many believers and skeptics together to debate pretty much any topic imaginable.
ChrLzs Posted July 19, 2016 #30 Share Posted July 19, 2016 I have to wonder how some folks actually decide what is truly unexplained, and whether they come here only after that decision has been made.. Getting upset by the presence of those who would offer explanations (aka skeptics), seems to me rather LESS effective than pointing out the errors or inapplicability in the proffered explanation... It seems to me that getting annoyed by skeptics is what you would do if: - you do not want your mystery to be explained and/or - you cannot point out errors or inapplicability in those explanations... ie they are most likely correct Me, I don't mind how many folks come here with weird and wonderful beliefs and fascinating (or less than fascinating) mysteries, as long as they debate in good faith and are willing to listen and properly consider other viewpoints.

There are many people who come here because they have an "unexplained mystery", they are looking for answers. How can you not have understood that by now? Please note when a logical explanation has been found and the OP is happy with that, there is no need to budge. Sometime the OP is not happy with the logical answer and in some cases - the unexplained mystery has actually been solved, but their reasons for coming on here and asking for an explanation, was in fact asking for clarification that their "experience" was out of this world = hence you can try and explain your fantasies all you like, but you can never prove it. You also give explanations to your "experiences" , and yet you too are on an unexplained mystery site.
