Big white light and a face

So last night I was on my phone, it was 11 something pm and all the sudden a big flash appeared didn't hurt my eyes or anything and it wasn't a light bulb or a camera then I got really scared but I went to investigate, I went out of my room and saw a face on my brother door I ran back into my room and couldn't sleep till 6 am

A big flash of light could be anything so before jumping to conclusions of the paranormal see an ophthalmologist. I get the occasional optical migraine and one of the symptoms are flashing lights and often when my vision tries to readjust I will see what looks like objects on the wall, door, or wherever it is I'm looking at. That's when pareidolia can kick in. I'm not saying what happened to you is the same thing as bright flashes could be the result of a number of things, but definitely get your eye checked out to be on the safe side.
