UM-Bot Posted July 23, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 23, 2016 Story submission by: Steve Location: UK Quote This strange happening is very mundane but has left me absolutely puzzled. Week of 20th June, I purchased a really nice designer label cotton shirt and cotton trousers by Pringle and a t-shirt from 3 different charity shops (2nd-hand UK)... http://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/stories/111692/holes-in-cotton-clothing
+ouija ouija Posted July 23, 2016 #2 Share Posted July 23, 2016 Adult moths do not eat cotton but their larvae do. Larvae do not eat synthetic materials so that is why the nylon thread has not been touched.

XenoFish Posted July 24, 2016 #4 Share Posted July 24, 2016 Here I was hoping it was either alien or demonic moths.

Nnicolette Posted July 25, 2016 #6 Share Posted July 25, 2016 (edited) It may be mice. This is rather embarrassing but right before my cat moved back in i had a rat move in for a short time. It ate the cotton crotches out of all my underwear. Usually they are less specific though and will gladly gather bites of your cotton clothes for thier nests leaving holes in whatever it found.
