A mysterious new human ancestor has been uncovered in a DNA analysis of human migration from Africa to Australasia.

Researchers found a previously unknown third hominin species that bred with early human ancestors when they migrated.

Three? I was under the impression that there were quite a few, even if they didnt all lead directly to us. There must have been some varying mixes.
