Lets hope there will be no fatalities, and it won't spread.

Since anthrax spores can be frozen I wonder if warmer temps in Siberia and softer tundra are stirring up old strains.

In this report it says -

While most are focused on rising sea levels and extreme weather what's going on in the arctic circles are just as disturbing. When the trapped methane and Co2 in places like Siberia breaks free it won't matter if man caused this mess or it's natural. We'll be past the point of fixing anything.
