Claire. Posted July 28, 2016 #2 Share Posted July 28, 2016 I watched about half of it. Seems it is high on speculation and low on proper scientific study and analysis. crystal sage Posted July 28, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted July 28, 2016 (edited) https://www.stir.ac.uk/news/2014/06/boys-to-girls-birthrate/ Quote In his classic work Madigan hypothesised that fundamental biological differences account for male–female differences in the 20th century (Madigan, 1957). He concluded that socio-cultural factors had made only a small contribution to the growing male excess in mortality and that nature itself was by far the most important force shaping the survival rates of men and women. There are several studies Arjan Gjonça, Cecilia Tomassini, James W. Vaupel 5 suggesting that males have higher rates of fetal mortality. Waldron (1995) claims that the sex differences in ischaemic heart disease mortality are the main contributor to the overall mortality difference in the industrialised world. She analyses different types of biological factors and concludes that women’s sex hormones reduce the risk of ischaemic heart disease, in part by the favourable effects they have on serum lipids. In contrast, men’s higher testosterone levels have unfavourable effects on serum lipids. She suggests another biological factor as a cause for some of the difference: men’s tendency to accumulate abdominal body fat appears to contribute to their unfavourable serum lipid levels and consequently to their higher ischaemic heart disease mortality http://www.demogr.mpg.de/Papers/Working/WP-1999-009.pdf there is this select world wide trend for unnatural selection.. of aborting girls.. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/indian-immigrants-3rd-child-more-likely-to-be-a-boy-1.1132585 Edited July 28, 2016 by crystal sage

jarjarbinks Posted July 28, 2016 #6 Share Posted July 28, 2016 With everything that is happening in the world, i think if we had more girls than guy, probably lot of them who are alone and starts becoming crazy would probably go soft and lay out. crystal sage Posted July 28, 2016 Author #7 Share Posted July 28, 2016 (edited) But then again there is a new trend with modern technology of being able to choose the sex of your baby.. the cultural preference for boys.. eg: aborting girls.. the well known example of China's one child policy where millions of girl children disappear.. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/05/22/opinion/chinas-brutal-one-child-policy.html?_r=0 would have affected the overall figures.. http://cominghomecrazy.weebly.com/forgotten-females.html Edited July 28, 2016 by crystal sage
crystal sage Posted August 1, 2016 Author #8 Share Posted August 1, 2016 Then , also, practically half the people I know of who have had children in the last 20 years have all had assisted pregnancies.. IVF.. etc... and also there are other friends who can't have children.. some due to early menopause.. others through polycystic ovarian syndrome .. then there are also many of the guys who have low sperm counts... . These count for more than 50% of all the people I know... I don't see any scientific figures relating to this.. How well are they really researching how modern pollutants, vaccinations affect the fertility rates of the modern generations ? http://www.ovarian-cysts-pcos.com/pcos-pollution.html and http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/falling-sperm-count-linked-to-pollution-1379172.html ... so if it appears to be 50% being affected now just from personal observation... experience.. ... how will the situation enfold in the next decade .. or 50 years from now ?
