[,,,] Last September, when Hurricane Joaquin was battering the Bahamas and threatening the nation's eastern seaboard, Perkins was singing a different tune. Perkins was interviewing a rabbi who also opposes gay marriage and who suggested that Joaquin might strike Washington as payback for the "desecration of marriage." [...] Read more... Hmmm... He certainly didn't waste any time putting his spin on it. He suffered because God deemed him a homophobic jerkface "worthy of suffering for His sake."

Only people like him with those sort of views would be employed by them. But now that "god has shown his wrath", I guess we can take it Mr Perkins could be gay. I wonder if the council will still employ him or have they another reason why "god" destroyed his home?

Gromdor Posted August 19, 2016 #12 Share Posted August 19, 2016 He can't be that much of a fringe group. Trump made it a point to visit him while touring Louisiana's flood damage. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/08/19/trump-tours-la-flood-damage-draws-cheers-as-says-region-will-rebuild.html

ALL of Trumps stuff comes from Conspiracy theory sites (Breitbart) and fringe groups (neonazis).
Michelle Posted August 19, 2016 #14 Share Posted August 19, 2016 At least he isn't a mentor of Trump's, like some of Obama's sketchy mentors. The man is influential in his community. Trump also made it a point to walk around handing out food to the people who are now homeless. The audacity! It's too bad the Democrat politicians aren't making more of an effort. But, they don't need to. That area is staunchly Democrat and they already have them in the bag. No need to worry about them anymore.

No need to worry about them anymore. Ask anyone who works at disaster sites. Having a politician come out to a site, whether it's under control or not, for a publicity piece is a pain in the tail. It's point scoring that causes havoc with work being done in the area. Don't care if the politico is Trump, Obama, or the freakina pope. If he isn't asked to come out there's no reason for him to come out. A bigot being influential in his community isn't something to crow about. The KKK did a great community projects in their neighborhood, still wouldn't want them anywhere near me. To the op, hilarious. God's will hits those who are faithful more than those who sin against him. Fortunately FEMA and local government already have it under control, as well as can be expected.
