Daughter of the Nine Moons Posted September 14, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 14, 2016 That's not sent as a PM. It's a profile comment.
Saru Posted September 15, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 15, 2016 Profile comments are not private, they have always shown up for anyone to view. The private messenger is available for members who want to correspond with someone in private.

.ZZ. Posted September 15, 2016 #5 Share Posted September 15, 2016 Hello, on the subject of PMs, I know there is a "report" button. Can staff view all PMs? Cheers.
Daughter of the Nine Moons Posted September 15, 2016 #6 Share Posted September 15, 2016 Hi ZZ Moderators can only view PM's if they have been reported.
seeder Posted October 1, 2016 Author #7 Share Posted October 1, 2016 OK see this....it seems way MORE than just a status update....quite personal in fact. Are you sure this stuff should be seen in status updates? I always thought you only get 'so many lines' in a status update? Its more like a personal email * snip *
Saru Posted October 1, 2016 #8 Share Posted October 1, 2016 That's not the fault of the system though, that's someone who (by their own admission) made a mistake when trying to send a private correspondence. They could have removed it themselves but decided to leave it up. Also keep in mind that there's nothing I can actually do to change how this works - it's a built-in forum feature.
