I reckon KIC 8462852 not the lucida of its constellation

but  a 8-) chameleon star.

A Dyson Sphere can't be ruled out but this is interesting.

Indeed, the universe is very exotic who knows what we'll find.

Why can't a Dyson Sphere be ruled out?

Sorry for the late reply, well from my view point they have ruled out things like Metors and gasses. This object whatever it is does fit within the parameters of what a possible hypothetical Dyson Sphere would do from what I have read about the subject. They could be in the middle of the construction that's why the star is acting unlike most stars.

Doesn't mean it's a Dyson Sphere. This simply means there's a lot of unknowns. If a Dyson Sphere is possible, so are other things which don't involve encircling a star with a technological megastructure to harness energy. There's many more possibilities and we don't know what they are based on our limited intelligence and understanding. We may learn one day though.
