Besides Iraq and Syria, they also have a presence in Lybia, Afghanistan, Africa and the Philippines. There's no point in staying associate with penniless losers. The international groups will probably take back their old name or device new ones which won't spell like failure. Not to mention there are still plenty of jihadist group in Syria unrelated to Daesh, they will have room to make a name for themselves.
