Meet Jeremy the lonely snail hoping to find a 'lefty'mate

Life is not easy when you’re a sinistral mutant.

Jeremy the garden snail was born with a rare genetic mutation which means his shell spirals anti-clockwise. Unless he finds another snail with a similar abnormality, he simply cannot mate.

And it’s not just the aesthetics of his eccentric exterior which is putting off suitors. His left-handed make-up means his sex organ is also on the wrong side.

Poor things.

Well, that said, if there are enough left-handed snails, my plants will be safer.

Poor Jeremy, his organs are the wrong side, his shell is anti clockwise, and he is doomed to a life of celibacy...but hey! he is left handed, that can not be bad.

How do they come up with left handed?

Should't it say ''left sided snail'' since snails to my knowledge has no hands.

Or does anyone else has a better way to describe this unwell snail?
