Claire. Posted October 28, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 28, 2016 Scientists Find That Frankenstein’s Monster Could Have Wiped Out Humanity Victor Frankenstein faces a thorny dilemma in the novel that bears his name: Consign his horrific creature to a lonely life, or create a female companion to keep it company? At first, the doctor decides to go ahead and use his creepy method to make a partner for the creature, but then he abandons the idea when he realizes he's created a monster. That decision, it turns out, was the right one—and for scientific reasons Frankenstein’s author, Mary Shelley, could never have foreseen when she wrote the book in 1816. +OverSword Posted October 28, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 28, 2016 Cool article but I can't agree with their findings because wouldn't the monsters DNA still been human? It was created from human flesh so any children would have been regular people. But my way isn't nearly as fun though.
StarMountainKid Posted October 28, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 28, 2016 Perhaps one day, by manipulating human DNA, a super species of humans may be created. Immune to disease, gunshot wounds, long life, greater intelligence... Maybe they would consider natural humans as inferior and a useless burden for them.

I guess because its from dead person or persons, the dna could be mutated or contaminated with outside elements

If they could have, there would have to be some crossbreeding with humans, or the in-breeding would get them..
