Still Waters Posted December 5, 2016 #1 Share Posted December 5, 2016 As Christmas party season approaches, it gets harder and harder to avoid the dreaded December excess. Only the most angelic of us manage not to eat and drink a little too much at this time of year. Thankfully, one supermarket seems to have come up with a drink that feels festive without adding to your tally of alcohol units. The teabags, which Aldi says "have an incredible Prosecco flavour," are especially guilt-free because they don't even contain any caffeine. http://www.standard.co.uk/lifestyle/foodanddrink/you-can-now-buy-prosecco-teabags-at-aldi-a3412291.html
sees Posted December 5, 2016 #2 Share Posted December 5, 2016 Tea contains mostly tannin though (i.e. a small amount of caffeine). Call me old fashioned but I like tea to taste like tea! I know you can get prosecco flavoured crisps here in UK. Can't say it appeals to me....and I am a crispaholic!! Prosseco jelly however would be good...with creme chantilly perhaps.
