Jaw-dropping moment meteor turns night into day as fireball EXPLODES over Siberian city
THIS is the extraordinary moment a meteor turns night into day as the fireball exploded over a Siberian city.

People in the Republic of Khakassia were given the show of a life time on Tuesday night they witnessed the rare phenomenon.

Nikolay Soldatov, a local resident, said the exploding meteor could be seen for about four seconds as it “emitted a cold light like a fluorescent lamp”.

He said: “I saw that it was starting to brighten fast. The flash was really bright.

“It wasn’t blinding, but it was still bright. I looked up and... above the city hospital there was a meteor.”

Probably because there is a lot of real estate there.
