Boise St. over Oregon 38-28. More results from yesterdays bowl games

Should have been 66 - 10 easily. Boise killed Oregon. Going to be a long 3 years, or 4. (How long it will take to fire the AD, and Coach)

Well that was a fun first day...

Second year in a row Grambling vs NC A&T was the best bowl of the starting day...

Hell @Sakari,even though Oregon didn't look great they still showed me something i've never seen happen in football in almost 29 years of watching!

Take a fumble 85 yards to the house and 3 plays later housed a pick 6 99 yards!...that D played their hearts out, that O...well

Well so far Myles and BG are the only ones willing to pick against the favorites (though technically,Oregon was the favorite in that game)...

It's bowl season, the favorite in many games is closer to a 50/50 shot than during regular season games lol...i'm going to have to shake things up!

Uhhhhh....i dunno really

I was good with all my picks with as little as i know about these smaller teams...though Western Kentucky had me worried as their qb is known to either be extremely hot or cold...they really crapped the bed <_<

Hell, you should be able to go 3 and 3 just flipping a coin.

The rest of the nation are either idiots or overthinking it.

Nice to be in the elite though, isn't it?

lmao :tu:

Honestly man that was a WILD start even by bowl season standards,it's very common for most to start out 5-0 or 5-1 the first day as those smaller games are usually stacked kinda funny ...

What i mean by that is like Boise St was a conference champion and 10-3 against a mediocre Oregon who was still somehow the favorite...a lot of these smaller bowls will have a lets say 3rd place finisher in a conference against a 7th place finisher sometimes...they are usually easy to pick, but this was one wacky ass year so why should bowl season be any different i suppose

Another example of what i was saying is like tomorrows game between FAU and Akron...FAU is a conference champ and a team with some real talent!

Poor little Akron is playing a superior team on their actual home field...they will get squished like a grape

I was hoping to see a good game between Auburn and UCF,but after their rb talking trash and Frost yesterday bragging how far ahead they are in bowl prep (they finished their school finals 1 week before AU did)i hope AU destroys them!

@Harte

Looks like Kirby is going to sign this years #1 recruiting class by a mile!

That so far is a MONSTER group with room for a few more!

@.ZZ.

Baylor sits at #15...honestly that is pretty damn suprising!....i think they will fall a bit as a few power programs like USC ect still havn't really made a push yet,but Baylor will probably finish with a top 25 class after signing day in feb!...maybe Rhule knows what he's doing lol :tu:

Yeah, it's good class, but they need more people that can catch a pass.

I hope they redshirt their top two prospects, QB Fields and RB White.

The Dawgs have a stellar running back in Andre Swift already, plenty of others to carry the ball with him.

If Eason transfers, they may have to play Fields. Hope not.

Imagine having those two guys as redshirt freshmen after Kirby brings in another top 5 class the next year.
