Still Waters Posted February 7, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 7, 2017 A Cheeto that bears a resemblance to slain gorilla Harambe has sold for nearly $100,000 on eBay. Bidding on the cheese snack the seller said he found in a bag of Flamin' Hot Cheetos began at $11.99 on Jan. 28. It ended early Tuesday morning with a winning bid of $99,900. The listing showed a picture of the Cheeto side-by-side with a gorilla climbing a tree. http://www.click2houston.com/news/national/cheeto-that-looks-like-harambe-sells-for-100000-on-ebay_

PersonFromPorlock Posted February 7, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 7, 2017 There seems to be at least one identical cheeto up on ebay at the moment. Very strange.

+Hammerclaw Posted February 8, 2017 #14 Share Posted February 8, 2017 A hundred grand for a cheeto. I'd sell'em a hundred magic nose goblins for that.
psyche101 Posted February 8, 2017 #15 Share Posted February 8, 2017 (edited) So ... how do we know that Cheeto is Harambe and not King Kong climbing the Empire State Building? How does it resemble "Harambe" specifically? It is roughly Gorilla shaped. Be funny if some kid ate it. Next headline "100K poop" Edited February 8, 2017 by psyche101
paperdyer Posted February 8, 2017 #16 Share Posted February 8, 2017 Why a Gorilla? Why not a fireman sliding down a pole or even an old pole dancer. If you rotate the picture 90° counter-clockwise it could be a bear walking. But over 90 grand? Some people have way too much money. If they want to waste it, they can give it away, preferably to me!
