Hmm..there are many games I used to like playing until my precious SNES blitzed itself a few years ago.

One was Breath of Fire

Breath of Fire 2

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

There were a few others but another I really liked was "Shining in the Darkness" for the Sega system (not sure if it was Genesis though)

Oh wing commander, I played that on the snes.  I can't tell you how many times I almost broke the TV with the controller flying alongside maniac.  What a douche.

I tried killing him...no luck...B)

Because of this thread, I'm now looking for a good and original Atari 2600 (not the new clones) with some games (I still have a few) and an Atari 800XL as well as Exodus and Comsic Balance.  I hope this isn't the beginning of a midlife crisis.  Or maybe I should welcome it.

Sorry I got rid of my extra machines, only kept my modded system with more modern video hook ups.  if you did get one pm me I have tons of duplicate games I can send your way.  If not consider a 7800 usually a good option as it natively plays both 2600 and 7800.

F19 Stealth Fighter, Wolfenstien and DOOM. Some serious hours racked up killing stuff. I used to fly into Iran and destroy stuff deep into enemy territory and the thrill when a fighter launched your way was exhilarating, like playing cat and mouse.

Decided to make an impromtu visit to these forums again. All the boards look like the same old. Buuuut saw this and being a retro game enthusiast, well..

What's retro?

I'll consider anything before the 2000s retro at this point.

In no order:

Castlevania: SOTN/Super Metroid (well, gotta have a tie here I guess)

EarthBound

The Guardian Legend

By hook or by crook, I have the originals, packaging and all.
