Still Waters Posted February 11, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2017 Police in Devon have been accused of over-reacting after arriving en masse to remove some ducks from a homeless man. Russ O’Conner said he had saved the birds – which had been living in a cardboard box alongside Russ on the streets of Newton Abbot, Devon – and had been left devastated by their loss. Authorities weren’t happy with the birds’ living conditions however, and police have now removed them from Russ’ care. https://uk.news.yahoo.com/nine-police-officers-arrive-in-two-cars-and-a-riot-van-to-take-ducks-from-homeless-man-133220393.html Quote The RSPCA said it took action following a number of calls from members of the public concerned about the ducks’ welfare. The ducks' welfare? What about the homeless man?

GlitterRose Posted February 11, 2017 #3 Share Posted February 11, 2017 It really took 9 police in two cars and a riot van to relieve him of a box of ducks? Maybe they could have helped improve living conditions all around, instead.
