Couple share their home with 2,500lb buffalo

He may have nearly killed them several times, but that does not deter Ronnie and Sherron Bridges from keeping their unusual pet indoors.

The couple, from Texas, allow their 2,500lb buffalo, named Wild Thing, to roam free inside their house.

He has his own room so he can watch action movies, and evens eats his breakfast from the kitchen table.

Well that is clearly not a sign that that couple simply needs more people to lavish huge amounts of attention on them. Not at all.

I had a dog that would watch TV if a dog was on.  Didn't matter if it was a real dog or a cartoon dog.  Somehow she recognized the shape I guess.

Hope he's house trained...

Didn't read the full. article, did you?

He goes outside to potty and is very careful not to break things in the house! But they did say the yard was his territory and was destructive out there. These people really are buffalo lovers to keep one as a pet!

They must be faced with a hefty buffalo bill each month.

Not surprised at anything from a nation that votes for a president with a name like Trump...

Why on Earth did you bring politics into this? There are all kinds of people that share their homes with different animals. I recall there being a hippo that lives with a couple in south africa. Respectfully, politics have absolutely no place in this thread so please stay on topic :).

Personally, I think this is great. Humans and animals happily co-existing in the same environment is always a beautiful thing to see.

Their grand-daughters are in scouts with my daughters. We've met Wild Thing several times and he's pretty cool.
