Still Waters Posted February 25, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 25, 2017 An estate agent has been fined £200,000 after a woman fell 30ft down a well while viewing a house. The 39-year-old had to try to stay afloat in the water for an hour before she was rescued by firefighters. The victim and her husband were at an open house viewing in Malmesbury, Wiltshire, when a board covering the well gave way as she walked around the garden. She was thrown a hosepipe and wrapped it around her waist to avoid sinking. http://news.sky.com/story/househunters-30ft-fall-down-well-lands-estate-agent-with-163200000-fine-10780515
Eldorado Posted February 25, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 25, 2017 Aside from the injuries, that must have been terrifying for the poor woman.
