And even there, I don't entirely blame the American people. What has happened over the more recent years is a workshop in mass psychology, mob mentality, divisive politics, and genius branding (not to mention a pretty good system of keeping relevant details out of prying eyes). The government has actually convince the people that they are better off handing over their rights, vs. fighting for them. True control isn't achieved through putting your thumb on the citizenry, that has been proven over and over. True control is when free people hand over their rights and freedoms of their own "free will".

Its absolutely been a case of conditioning for decades now.

The problem is they're the only ones with any real voice in mainstream media. They shout as loudly as they can, and news agencies such as the BBC lap it up, as it tallies with their own agenda. A typical day on the BBC main page consists of thinnly-veiled anti-Brexit and anti-Trump propaganda, filled in with articles on transgender issues. Along with meaningless guff such as the Oscars mix-up - interesting entertainment story, sure... but this was the top story on the main BBC evening news Meanwhile, the reality of what this suppression of opinion is actually doing to world politics gets relegated to small obscure sections of the BBC site. Take a look at how much support Marine Le Pen is gaining in France, and how much Geert Wilders is gaining in the Netherlands, and how little BBC coverage it gets, and you'll have a sense of how biased BBC reporting is. I honestly fear for our future. The real issue isn't the increasing disparity between left and right. That's the result. The real issue is that anyone in the middle who wants reasonable discourse doesn't have a voice. If they can't hit the appropriate level of political correctness, they are silenced in mainstream media, thus pushing them further towards right-wing views, and driving an ever bigger wedge between the political poles. Honestly, if this situation doesn't change, it will inevitably end badly. If half of society are having their views openly suppressed, there will come a point where words aren't enough.

I didn't mean knock him out physically, although he would have a fight on his hands if he would have said that to me in the flesh. But what I meant was, he went all in, I called, he lost. Karma's a btch lol. Hah, yeah, no better feeling than stacking the table nob head I'm good man, just keeping quiet and having an extended break from the poker tables. You play on Stars? Stardrive Posted March 1, 2017 #33 Share Posted March 1, 2017 Yeah I play on Stars. There were 3 yanks at the table counting myself but we kept our cool. The guy from Austria, he didn't take it so well, he let that guy have it with both barrels. Now the Argentine that thought he was loosing because he thought Stars was based in the states was kinda funny. I kept trying to tell him Isle of Man but he didn't want to hear it...... so I gave up and let him have his ignorance. Last nights speech by Donald Duck was actually the first time I've heard the man sound like a professional. Trump won because the liberal media pounded away at him and inadvertently gave him way to much air time. Plus he had a message. Hillary's message was "don't vote for Trump". Plus alienating Trump supporters didn't help her any. She should have had a message to win them over. But no, she thought it was in the bag and thought she could slander whoever and still win. Its only nebulous in that there is so much wrong with this admin and what has happened in the longest 5 weeks in history that all the important messages drown each other out.
