Sameerr Posted March 28, 2017 #3 Share Posted March 28, 2017 Now that's what I'm talking about.. I read that news before. It is mentioned as " A team of scientists have found some of the world's largest dinosaur footprints in Australia, measuring nearly 5 feet 9 inches."
paperdyer Posted March 28, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 28, 2017 It's a bit surprising that this was just discovered. Since Australia was supposed to be part of Antarctica, makes you wonder whether the Dinos went along for the ride and just how hot was the Earth before the ice age?

Silent Trinity Posted March 29, 2017 #6 Share Posted March 29, 2017 Great discovery. Certainly is tantalizing to think what creature they may discover possessed those feet!

Claire. Posted April 3, 2017 Author #10 Share Posted April 3, 2017 What blows my mind is the size of some of those tracks. The sauropod that made the tracks shown in the photo below, for example, would have been around 5.4 meters (17 feet 9 inches) high at the hips. It that thing was walking around today, it would be like crunch, crunch, crunch all over the place. Source: CNN
