Arcana Posted March 27, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 27, 2017 (edited) Beyond What lays beyond the veil of stars Towards the unseen fringe of eternity Unsullied, pristine and forever evolving A story unfolding in the unyielding pitch One that no words could ever describe Primal, yet revealing glimpses of what may be Rippling out across the fabric of the Universe In inexorable waves through time and space A plethora of worlds that transgress imagination Huddle the deepest recesses, far beyond our gaze Where no basis of comparison resides to relate In cosmic oceans, swirling the great expanse All that is or was, incessantly becoming more Flowing and ebbing, as tides lap shores Performed before an audience of heavenly bodies Ending yet becoming, in some enduring play Some more vast than entire galaxies Others, infinitely smaller than dust All pawns in an interstellar game of chess Deadlocked, any possible victory denied And so it goes on, in unremitting extant Surviving all obstacles hurled at its majesty Teeming with enigmas never imagined Expanding, inhaling and exhaling, somehow alive Somewhere within, a consciousness exists A silent watcher who is many not sole Holding hands with each sentient being Amidst this unfolding, interminable tale Each thought gives birth to new horizons Beyond those both seen and known Melting into an ethereal transcendence Of unity in a realm beyond recognition To be a small part of something so vast Spawned from the outer reaches of infinity Each tiny piece, part of something far greater Like the drops of water that form an ocean United are we, serving purpose to the cosmos Our importance irrefutable within its scheme Though familiarity fades beyond a planet We are each a part of all that is ....Beyond where we call home © Edited March 27, 2017 by Arcana
