The Caspian Hare Posted April 11, 2017 #27 Share Posted April 11, 2017 I love water monster legends. Monster-sized fish, or spookily out-of-place fish, is 90% as cool as a real monster in my book.
Matt221 Posted April 11, 2017 #28 Share Posted April 11, 2017 (edited) I once caught a catfish in one of our club lakes it weighed just under 30lb not huge by any standard but when we released it it hung about in the shallows still feeding on boilies we were chucking it and it looked much bigger than it was, when it surfaced if you didn't know it was a cat you'd have know idea what it was especially as at one point it lifted it's head clear of the water made a gluging/barking sort of noise and dived away as a footnote my mate caught it a month or so later and it had put on about 4lb Edited April 11, 2017 by Matt221 Spelling
