Still Waters Posted March 30, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 30, 2017 French artist Abraham Poincheval - who has already spent two weeks living inside a stuffed bear - plans to commune with the humble chicken for his latest performance stunt. How? By incubating 10 eggs with his own body heat. He will live inside a glass vivarium until his charges hatch, watched by visitors to the Palais de Tokyo museum in Paris. Poincheval expects the process to last between 21 and 26 days. "I will, broadly speaking, become a chicken," he said. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-39434313
Still Waters Posted April 20, 2017 Author #2 Share Posted April 20, 2017 Update - Quote His patience finally paid off this week when the first of the eggs began to hatch, forcing Mr Poincheval to temporarily rise from his nest for fear of crushing the little yellow chick that emerged. The 44-year-old artist's ordeal is far from over, however, as he must stay in the glass case until the other nine eggs deliver their chicks before he can return home to his two human children. https://uk.news.yahoo.com/broody-french-artist-apos-hatches-113359940.html
