I was in a tristar cockpit in the mid-nineties as it followed the Nile at night, awesome sight.

That was cool.

Florida is distinctively outlined with lights...  but Australia, jeez almost nothing.

The reason we (Australia) probably aren't lit up like a spangling beacon from space....is because most of our larger cities hug the coast lines...and there is a lot of desert in between.

Egypt is really something to look at with the Nile a stream of lights in the middle of nothing. N. Korea is just sad to look at.
