I read a while back that non westerners who agenda posted on internet forums etc were advised to use ordinary Western type names to blend in and make the target group feel that 'one of their own' was speaking - you're not from the West are you... Puppet in place - . There is just so far electing the first anti-establishment bozo will get you. It's pretty much what they did in Greece, and they do just like the other administrations did before them, if a little less skillfully. SYRIZA had a totally unrealistic program which they had to throw under the bus. Marine Le Pen need to work more on her economics and propose something coherent. She has 5 years to think it through. Gingitsune Posted June 11, 2017 #104 Share Posted June 11, 2017 Premier tour of the élections législatives today, Macron should have a comfortable majority next week. Theresa May must be jealous. The participation was abysmal though, and Macron's party manage to somehow win over 400 second tour candidates with only about 30% of the vote. An analyst at Le Figaro's webcast sum the average French's reasoning as: "Let's give Macron a chance, he can't do worst than the others." Marine Le Pen made it to second tour this time, we'll see if she'll make it to the assemblée nationale.

Gingitsune Posted June 19, 2017 #106 Share Posted June 19, 2017 Final vote for this assemblée nationale, Macron got officially a majority, but less seats than what was predicted a week ago. It seems the participation was even more catastrophic than last week. Marine Le Pen was voted in for the first time. Red is far left, pink is left, orange is Macron, Blue is right and purple is far right (Front National).
