Still Waters Posted May 27, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 27, 2017 An advert on an online message board asks: "Anyone interested in living in an off-grid straw bale house?" It adds: "No rent, all I'm asking is taking care of the house, and my two donkeys, two pigs (pets!), five hens, two cats and two dogs." It's not your average property listing, but the owners, by their own admission, are not your average couple. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-40050293
sees Posted May 27, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 27, 2017 (edited) Interesting! Whilst many might be tempted to try out living off grid, to live in the house with all those animals is maybe a step too far? Hmmm... Edited May 27, 2017 by sees
Future ghost Posted May 27, 2017 #3 Share Posted May 27, 2017 While living off the grid is not unheard of, would I want to do it? Not by the hair of my chinny, chin, chin.
