+susieice Posted May 28, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 28, 2017 My die-hard Phillies loving brothers are heartbroken. I remember watching him on TV. They watched every single game for years along with my mom and dad. +susieice Posted May 28, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted May 28, 2017 You're not getting old. I liked that Larry Bowa was talking about him. I remember being at a Phillies-Blue Jays game with one of my brothers and my nephew when Bowa was still coaching. Larry got into an argument with the umpires over a bad call. Four times he walked back to the bullpen and came out again yelling. My first time of seeing someone ejected from the game. The crowd kept yelling...Larry, Larry, Larry. It was awesome! I remember being at a Phillies-Braves game with 2 of my brothers and my nephew. Our seats were third row just past first base. Everytime a ball came flying in our direction, I'd duck and they'd laugh. I was so glad when those young guys in front of us stood up. I wasn't about to try and catch a line drive doing over 100 mph into the seats! Good times at Phillies games. Bunning was a legend!
