This could be fairly accurate if based on your medical conditions...but not likely to take into account random events like accidents, natural disasters, actions of other humans (murder, terror attacks).

Until we understand all aspects of human biology, including the intricacies of the human microbiome and how it plays a role in disease, whatever AI we design won't be fully accurate. Now if AI were to completely surpass us in all forms of knowledge, that would be a very different story.

Anything is impossible according to advancements in technology. It might happen in the future. But why would anyone want to know their time of death? people will feel depressed for the rest of their lives. It sux!

This seems to predict if you are going to die within the next 5 years due to your medical conditions...but these would be the conditions which your doctor has either missed or was not able to detect.

And the tests were done on people over 60.

So basically this is a super duper detector which can see what your doctor can not.

if it can be used to save a life, then great....but not if only to tell you , you got no chance and will be dead with in 5 years.

This will certainly impact actuarial science and I can imagine insurance costs. Yet, unintentional injuries still rank very high as cause of death.

Enter in the factors and get it's best guess until factors change. Maybe even customize a nice medical regiment to keep you on your predetermined shelf life.

Just give it a couple hours. With access to the entirety of human knowledge and the ability to process millions of calculations every second, by the end of the first week AI will have moved approx. 20,000 years beyond us.

The real danger with AI is not what it will do, but what WE will do with supreme technology far beyond our current capabilities. At least, according to intellectuals like Sam Harris.

This would be an insurance nightmare.

Not for the insurance companies, they'd find a way to cancel your policy if you didn't die on your assigned day. That way they keep all the money!

Wasn't this same claim on here a few months ago?
