Dark_Grey Posted June 27, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 27, 2017 There seems to be a lull in the big headlines (finally,) so that gives us a good opportunity to hammer CNN. Basically, CNN producer John Bonifield agreed to have a candid discussion with James O'Keefe, a member of Project Veritas Quote The investigative journalists at Project Veritas has done it again! Known for their undercover sting operations, such as the one which exposed the DNC's highly organized network of professional agitators sent to disrupt Trump rallies, voter fraud, or the undercover operation which led to the arrests of Antifa thugs planning to disrupt an the inauguration "deploraball" event. The conversation was secretly filmed and now we have the pleasure of hearing Mr. Bonifield, in his own words, admit just how slimy CNN really is. Producer Admits CNN Refused to Scrutinize Obama Like Trump DailyWire Quote there is another part of this startling video confession that is getting less attention but is just as illuminating, the part where this producer admits that CNN never scrutinized President Obama in the same way they do Trump. The rationale for this is just as jaw-dropping: CNN wants to appease a left-wing audience: I think that there are a lot of like, liberal CNN viewers who want to see Trump really get scrutinized, and I think if we would have behaved that way with President Obama, and scrutinized everything that he was doing with as much scrutiny as we apply to Donald Trump, I think our viewers would’ve been turned off. I think they would have felt like we were attacking him. I think our viewers, right now, and I’m not saying all our viewers are like super liberals, I think there’s just a lot of them. CNN media bias confirmed. Also from the interview: CNN Producer Admits Russia Story Fake News Pushed For Ratings ZeroHedge Quote PV Journalist: Why is CNN constantly like "Russia this, Russia that?" Bonifield: Because it's ratings. Our ratings are incredible right now. My boss, I shouldn't say this, my boss yesterday we were having a discussion about this dental shoot and he was like I just want you to know what we're up against here. Just to give you some context, President Trump pulled out of the climate accords. For a day and a half we covered the climate accords. And the CEO of CNN [Jeff Zucker] said in our internal meeting, he said good job everybody covering the climate accords, but we're done with it. Let's get back to Russia. But all the nice cutesy little ethics that used to get talked about in journalism school, you're just like, that's adorable. That's adorable. This is a business. Read the ZeroHedge article for more of the interview. CNN judges stories based on potential network ratings, not factual accuracy. They deny or approve journalist investigations based on the target audience, not a moral imperative to inform your countrymen. CNN is not news.

Farmer77 Posted June 27, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 27, 2017 Good for them. ....... Now the key is for the right wing media to learn from the ass whipping their foe is handing them and apply that same pressure to the next president.

Quote PV Journalist: But honestly, you think the whole Russia **** is just bull****? Bonifield: Could be bull****. I mean, it's mostly bull**** right now. Like, we don't have any giant proof. Then they say, "well there's still an investigation going on." I don't know, if they were finding something we would know about it. They way these leaks happen, they would leak it. They'd leak. If it was something really good, it'd leak. I just feel like they don't really have it but they want to keep digging. And so I think the President is probably right to say, like "look, you are witch hunting me. You have no smoking gun, you have no real proof." If you have any hard evidence that proves CNN and James Comey wrong, I would love to hear it. Talking about a Trump/Russia connection has almost become taboo it's been shot so full of holes.

A producer gave his opinion. Thats it , his opinion is that it "could be bull" , "we dont have any giant proof" and that "if there was something good it would leak" thats hardly a smoking gun. Do you really find it breaking news that CNN is looking closer at Trump than they did Obama for the sake of ratings? Trump is an easy target, he's a renowned liar , super unlikeable and even if he isnt corrupt he sure as hell acts like it.
Lilly Posted June 27, 2017 #12 Share Posted June 27, 2017 I have been saying for some time now that if there was any actual evidence of Trump/Russia collusion it would have been leaked long ago. I'm not at all surprised that CNN is running the story simply for ratings.

Farmer, the absence of proof is proof in itself. Their are thousands upon thousands of anti-Trump media personnel combing through every frame of footage to find the next headline. Right down to his wife's hand gestures. Do you really think they would miss something that could sink Trump once and for all? Trump's administration, his family and essentially his life have been under the microscope for a long time now. The MSM has changed the Russia narrative as each new headline they produce is debunked by sources - they have nothing because there is no story. Hell, there is more substance to an Obama/Russia collusion than Trump/Russia. The CNN producer said it all: "They way these leaks happen, they would leak it. They'd leak. If it was something really good, it'd leak." Just about every one who added fuel to this Russian fire has since backed away from it. I'm really not sure what you are holding out for my man.

I think we're talking apples and oranges. I was saying that what the producer said wasnt proof of any true malfeasance on CNN's part beyond being biased towards good ratings. However now that you point me in that direction its really not proof of anything other than his opinion. My opinion on the Russian thing is that it needed to be looked into before Trump and friends even took office and their behavior since simply locked in that opinion. Let the investigations continue to their full unimpeded conclusions and accept the outcome. I guess that answers your question, im holding out for the investigations to wrap up.
