The Caspian Hare Posted July 17, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 17, 2017 Quote South Korea has proposed holding military talks with the North, after weeks of heightened tension following Pyongyang's long-range missile test. If they were to go ahead, they would be the first high-level talks since 2015. A senior official said talks should aim to stop "all hostile activities that raise military tension" at the fortified border between the Koreas. South Korea's President Moon Jae-in has long signalled he wants closer engagement with the North. North Korea has not responded to the South's proposal yet. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-40627608

I sure would like to see that happen as well.
Lilly Posted July 17, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 17, 2017 Something tells me that talking to Lil' Kim is like nailing jello to a tree. Hey, go ahead and talk but I'm skeptical that it will do any good.
+and-then Posted July 17, 2017 #5 Share Posted July 17, 2017 Considering the history of talks with the Norks, I'm not sure what the point is.
