Still Waters Posted July 23, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 23, 2017 A lion on the loose usually causes a media frenzy and panic among the local population. But the lion, or possibly lioness, apparently roaming the countryside west of Paris has met largely with a Gallic shrug of indifference. When the Telegraph asked gendarmes in Laval, the capital of the Mayenne department where the beast was spotted several times this week, how their hunt for the feline was progressing, the question was met with apparent surprise. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/07/22/lioness-loose-french-countryside/

I can give her a call but she is a good girl and she is harmless most of the time. Plus, last time I talked to her, she said she was thinking about becoming a vegetarian. I don't think she will eat anyone.

She hasn't been out for quite a while, I suppose.
Eldorado Posted July 23, 2017 #7 Share Posted July 23, 2017 Let's hope no gendarme sees her eyes. (You can't hide your lion eyes, I've heard)
