freetoroam Posted August 8, 2017 #3 Share Posted August 8, 2017 There was an advert a couple of years back with this carseat driver. But as it turns out, this one is because of this: Quote As it turned out, the peculiar driving arrangement had been part of a study on driverless cars being conducted by the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute. http://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/news/310461/man-drives-van-while-dressed-as-a-car-seat Why would a car be driver-less.....i can understand lorries taking goods to depots etc, but a car with no on in it...what is the point of that? As it happens this was NOT a driver-less car so their study is worthless. Personally i think it was a prank or another run for an advert. Quote "The driver's seating area is configured to make the driver less visible within the vehicle, while still allowing him or her the ability to safely monitor and respond to surroundings," Safely? the driver went through a red light. how is that safe? .NO excuse for that, getting away from the media is not a valid reason. and why drive away, its not as if its a big secret there is someone in the car?
