It's has plenty of power.

OLED looks great.  I'm surprised Apple has not done this yet.

You can get more for your money (and the exact same equipment inside) by not buying the brand but the product.

Apple has been in decline since their captain died. I suspect it will continue for the next few years as they haven't invested in developing their own VR headset. Most of their competitors have and Samsung leads that market.

I quite like the Alienware stuff. I'm using an M15X. It's an old beast now but seems to be pretty good for its age and still going strong. Not something you'd want to carry around with you though as it's a heavy piece of kit.

The base model is not even full HD and retails for $1,999AU.

Specs are not very impressive.

But gaming laptops will never be my thing anyway. Consoles or desktops.

I love the 24" LCD solution.

It should be active matrix setup for such screen size but yeah OLED essentially tho not correct. Those displays surely were revolutionary both in terms of power consumption and picture quality ( especially on smaller devices as mobile phones ). It makes me a bit confused about what LCD is behind it and could not find technical details.

It's relatively old screen technology for which i expected it would be kinda gone by now. I worked in the field for long time but changed my interests some 5 years ago or so.

[edit] to add

Since it ( amoled ) is in Apple watch, who knows but IPS Retina is their puppy.
