Still Waters Posted August 22, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 22, 2017 Scotland Yard is to ask for more money to continue its six-year investigation into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. Detectives are struggling to resolve a final lead, which, if it fizzled out, could have brought the £11m Government-funded investigation to an end next month. I understand that the Home Office is willing to carry on paying for the last bit of work to be completed. http://news.sky.com/story/hunt-for-madeleine-mccann-needs-more-cash-to-continue-10999676
Popular Post glorybebe Posted August 22, 2017 Popular Post #2 Share Posted August 22, 2017 Enough already. It is very sad that this little girl disappeared, but there are so many more children who could be helped with the outrageous amounts spent to find Madeleine.

If the McCanns can raise funds themselves, via an online appeal, that's great, but don't waste more public resources on one missing child out of thousands.

The Home Office confirmed it will fund work to chase up a 'critical' lead in Scotland Yard's inquiry. Still Waters Posted February 9, 2018 Author #8 Share Posted February 9, 2018 Latest: Quote The parents of Madeleine McCann have a £750,000 fund to pay for a private search for their daughter if the police hunt is finally axed next month. Mr.United_Nations Posted March 27, 2018 #12 Share Posted March 27, 2018 Somethings not right here, not right at all. Starting to think it was an accidental death and the parents are trying to blame on someone but are failing, so they and the investigators are asking for more money
glorybebe Posted March 28, 2018 #13 Share Posted March 28, 2018 Quote 'We haven't had a fraction of that help': Ben Needham's mother speaks of her frustration as Maddie McCann hunt gets more cash while her toddler son remains 'a missing person' http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5554195/Ben-Needhams-mother-Kerry-speaks-frustration-Madeleine-McCan-funding.html I feel for this mother. acute Posted March 29, 2018 #17 Share Posted March 29, 2018 (edited) It is beyond ridiculous now, to throw more money at this search. If Madeleine is alive now, would she really want two strangers taking her to a foreign land, away from her family and friends? No. Edited March 29, 2018 by acute

If they knew, after all this time they would be able to prove it. Because in order to know, you have to have proof. Otherwise, it is just assumption, bias and lazy investigators.
