Scary Encounters with Evil Fairies

Fairies are not evil. Only people are sometimes irritating them.

Terry Pratchett has two references to fairy invasions in his books.  They are really evil.  Fortunately for Discworld they had Tiffany Aching and the Nac Mac Feagals.  I am not sure who we have that can stand against the beguilement and glamour of evil fairies.

Crivins!

Books by Terry Pratchett  are phantasy. :P Real Fairies  are likeable beings.  People could see them in meditation for example.

Yes they are, or even fantasy to speak it plainly.   But what makes you think "Real Fairies" are likable?   The old stories are not so clear on this. It is only the modern sanitized Disney Tinkerbell image that most people grow up with today.  That is fantasy too.  If you hold any of those stories to be true, then there is a dark side  to them as well.

Enjoy what you see in meditation, you might be able to control your thoughts.  Invite in what is good.

The Man With the Thistledown Hair in “Jonathan Strange and Mister Norrell” is probably the best example of a pre-Cottingley faerie, one of the Fair Folk that are best not crossed.
