Still Waters Posted September 21, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2017 A father and son team are tiling their garage floor – using 33,000 2p coins. Dominic Lowe, 55, and his 25-year-old son, Jon, are midway through fixing a stunning copper mosaic floor covering 5 metres square. Eventually the floor space will be covered with about 33,700 coins – worth £674 – and so far about 17,000 have been meticulously stuck down with tubes of glue. https://uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/father-son-team-lay-garage-floor-33700-shiny-2p-coins-152238730.html Video: https://uk.news.yahoo.com/father-son-create-mosaic-2p-123000521.html
Sir Smoke aLot Posted September 21, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 21, 2017 Now this is great work, gotta love the creativity. It makes me wonder tho, i could have used those old Jugoslavian coins better, had loads of them and sold them all as iron garbage.
