George Orwell scares people with a radio show. People make horror movies about scary aliens, with a very few friendly alien movies mixed in. Horror seems to sell so well we even have scary movies about clowns, from Stephen King's "It" to the Joker. And what movie brings it all together? Killer Klowns from Outer Space (1988).

If the UN turns to movie makers for advice on aliens we are in serious trouble. When the aliens destroy the White House or Big Ben with their lasers what is the UN going to do? Replace them in the sequel?

I am reminded of a presentation about ghost encounters, where Telly Savalas related his story. However, prior to that, the lead in was very animate about the fact that this wasn't just anyone, but a well respected Hollywood star! So, of course, we need to take it more seriously. As if a popular TV/Film actor could never mislead, lie, or be mistaken. In other words, if you aren't a celebrity, your story isn't worth squat.

That said, if anyone is going to address the UN, it should most certainly be a movie producer/director.
